Viglacera will apply Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for ty so bong da entire Office of ty so bong da Corporation, subsidiaries and affiliates which Viglacera holds majority of shares
Recently, ERP Steering Committee of Viglacera Corporation - JSC held a meeting to set plans for ERP implementation (period 2015 – 20160) based on ty so bong da "Survey and assessment report of capability to deploy ERP" in 6 units as mentioned in ty so bong da first meeting session.
According to Mr. Vu Luu Phuong - Head of Information Technology (IT) of ty so bong da Corporation, after surveying six units, Viglacera Float Glass Company is a unit with ty so bong da best conditions to deploy ERP, other units should continue preparing for ERP deployment.
From Phase 1 Survey of ty so bong da IT Department, ty so bong da ERP Steering Committee requested IT Department to lead an “Overall Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Implementation” project applied to ty so bong da entire Office of ty so bong da Corporation, subsidiaries and affiliates which ty so bong da Corporation holds majority of shares. ty so bong da project should ensure ty so bong da success of ERP deployment for ty so bong da entire range above, and also ensure ty so bong da capability to apply it at ty so bong da soonest in order to deliver effectiveness to ty so bong da Corporation and its units. This is a big project with long-term strategy, so ERP Steering Committee also asked ty so bong da IT department to be in charge of organizing bidding to select and supervise an independent consultant capable for building and ensuring quality of ty so bong da Project.
Besides, ERP Steering Committee also asked ty so bong da IT Department to continue additional surveys in 5 units: Viglacera Shower and Faucet Company, Viglacera Viet Tri JSC, Viglacera Thanh Tri Sanitary Ware JSC, Viglacera Thang Long JSC, Viglacera Ha Noi JSC. Based on ty so bong da survey results of these 5 units and other 6 units mentioned earlier, IT Department will propose an option, a plan to carry out IT capacity building in each unit in order to meet necessary requirements to deploy ERP.
