At the meeting, Minister ti so bong da Trade and Foreign Investment ti so bong da Cuba, Minister ti so bong da Construction ti so bong da Cuba appreciated the efforts ti so bong da Viglacera in the process ti so bong da establishing a joint venture in production ti so bong da sanitary ware and ceramic tiles in Cuba; simultaneously, the Government ti so bong da Cuba highly valuated this project and considerred it a particular important project ti so bong da Cuba. The project is a prerequisite for cooperation expansion with other countries after a long time being embargoed.

In the meeting, the two ministers also pledged and directed relevant parties to quickly complete licensing procedures for the joint-venture in April 2016.

The joint venture will manufacture sanitary wares and ceramic tiles in San Jose and Santa Cruz - Cuba. Earlier, in 2014, Viglacera has sent two teams ti so bong da technology experts and technicians to Cuba to support a building material production plant in Cuba; many high-level delegations ti so bong da Ministry ti so bong da Trade and Foreign Investment, Ministry ti so bong da Construction ti so bong da Cuba have visited and worked with Viglacera Corporation and its production subsidiaries. In 10/2014. both parties signed a memorandum on the establishment ti so bong da joint venture producing sanitary wares and ceramic tiles in Cuba. In 04/2015, both parties signed a memorandum on the work list to be done for submission ti so bong da establishment ti so bong da a joint-venture. Now, both sides are actively speeding up the project.

Within the framework ti so bong da the mission in the Republic ti so bong da Cuba, General Director ti so bong da Viglacera Corporation - JSC Nguyen Anh Tuan and the delegation have visited and worked with the Building Material Group ti so bong da Cuba, visited factories, and signed the work records, memorandum ti so bong da cooperation on 9 programs with a commitment to launch a joint venture ti so bong da producing ti so bong da sanitary ware and ceramic tiles on committed schedule.
